Soft and durable, this is the glorious heavier-weight organic flannel you've been looking for. Woven in the US using American-grown organic cotton, it is a spectacular version of one of the most popular fabrics out there.

Use this workhorse fabric for the whole family. It's traditionally coveted for infant layettes -- diapers, blankets, clothing (especially those adorable gowns that gather at the bottom -- could there be anything cuter???), and the like. Great for kids and grown-ups too, though -- line a pair of winter pants with flannel and you'll be oh-so-cozy, or make a splendid work shirt for those nippy fall mornings. Flannel's great for cloth menstrual pads, pillowcases and other bedding, and so much more.

At 14 ounces per linear yard, the flannel weighs about 8.9 ounces per square yard. Although the fabric starts out soft enough, it washes up even softer and more luscious. It's really a splendid material!
